This is my first time making a 3D game for GDevelop.

The NEW UPDATE is now uploaded (v1.0.2).
Issues Fixed:

  • 178's has been REMOVED in the Anaglyph mode to stay true to the game's immersive story. (that when you wear the 3D Glasses for a long period of time, the 178's will come after you. but if you refuse to wear the 3D Glasses, you'll have more chances to survive.)
  • The A & D keys are now fully functional. The character can now move in all directions using W, A, S, and D. (a special thanks to Sleightblind for giving me an Idea for the control issues to be fixed)
  • When you pause the game, check the folders, phone, or encounter tutorials, a cursor will now be visible. You won't have to press ESC to show the cursor.

If you are still experiencing any issues, please leave feedback.

The NEW and Updated Version can also be played in gd.games
here is the link for the game in gd.games: https://gd.games/markzoid/stuck-in-anaglyph--3d-game-jam

Controls:

  • W: Walk Forward
  • S: Walk Backwards
  • A: Walk Left
  • D: Walk Right
  • Left Mouse Button: Interact
  • Escape: Pause Menu/Show Cursor (for interacting with folders, phone, and the 3D specs)

Embark on a captivating journey of mystery and redemption in "Lost in Anaglyph." Assume the role of Jeffrey Moran, a former journalist wrongfully accused of murder and now affiliated with an undisclosed secret organization as a D-Class participant. To support his family, he must undergo a series of tests presented by the organization.

During a crucial test, Jeffrey encounters a pair of unremarkable 3D glasses. As he puts them on, peculiar occurrences transport him into a world of enigmatic wonders. Awakening in an empty facility, he finds himself disoriented and unaware of the events that unfolded. Now, his objective is clear: navigate through the facility, uncover evidence, and reclaim his innocence.

In "Lost in Anaglyph," you have the power to choose your experience. Opt to wear the red and blue 3D anaglyph glasses for an immersive journey where reality takes on new dimensions. Alternatively, play without the glasses for a captivating adventure through a conventional lens.
